FOBO Trike 2 is a SMART tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) for every triker (3-wheeler) using the latest Bluetooth 5.0 that works directly with your smart device using Android 5.0 and iOS 12 or later.
The main function of FOBO Trike 2 is to monitor tyre pressure in real time while riding or when in Bluetooth range. It detects slow or fast leak and alerts users to anomalies. It then transmits the readings to a smart phone where the user can browse. The user can set upper and lower thresholds of the air pressure. FOBO Trike 2 can send instant audio, haptic and text alerts on a smartphone/ smartwatch/ Bluetooth headset. It will monitor the pressure based on the thresholds with its smart algorithm and will provide three levels of alerts when the thresholds are breached.

Please ensure sufficient clearance between installed FOBO Bike 2 sensor and any part of the bike. There is a risk of damage to the sensor or ripping off valve from the rim or sudden air leak if clearance is insufficient; the valve may deflect under strenuous vibration.
Ensure sensor clearance with vehicle parts is 10 mm (3/8”) and 3 mm (1/8”) for installation on a rubber valve and a metal valve, respectively. (For metal valve only, the most definitive test is to push the motorcycle which has been installed with the sensors for a short distance forward or backward to ensure that the closest part such as the brake caliper does not knock or touch the mounted sensors.)
RUBBER VALVE: Fobo Tyre Australia strongly recommends use of sensors with only metal valves as many as user finds that it is difficult to determine the fitness conditions of rubber valves. Use of sensors with rubber valves can cause a leak of tyre blowout which it turns leads to sudden loss of control of the vehicles that subsequently leads to an accident and serious injuries. If user chooses to use rubber valves, users must regularly check if the valves are fit to use. Fobo Tyre Australia is not liable for any untoward consequences.
What devices is the app compatible with?
The app is compatible with devices using iOS 12 and Android 5 or later with Bluetooth 5.0 or 4.0.
Do I need to manually re-connect the sensors if i go out of the Bluetooth range?
There is no such need; sensors will automatically connect back with smartphone once within the Bluetooth range.
Type of battery and lifespan?
Sensor uses coin cell battery CR1632, which can last up to 1 year with standard use and within the specified operating temperature.
Is the battery replaceable or rechargeable?
The battery is user replaceable but not rechargeable. User can easily replace the battery without using a tool.
Is the battery covered by any warranty?
Battery is a consumable item and will not be covered under warranty.
Can I monitor tyre pressure and temperature with FOBO BIKE 2 sensors without an internet connection?
Yes you can. Sensors uses Bluetooth technology to work with smartphone. Internet connection is only required for installation and release of FOBO bike 2 sensors.
What if the FOBO BIKE 2 sensor got stolen?
Sensor is linked with owner’s email address. This will prevent the stolen sensor to be used by anyone else. You can always purchase replacement sensor from our web-store "www.my-fobo.com".
Is the App free of charge to download and use?
FOBO BIKE 2 App is available free of charge to download on Google Play store (Android) or App Store (iOS). There are no additional or hidden charges.
What is the maximum pressure which FOBO BIKE 2 sensor can measure?
Sensor can measure maximum up to 116 psi (800 Kpa).
What is a sensor weight?
Sensor weight is only 7.6g (inclusive of CR1632 battery).
Which Bluetooth chip FOBO BIKE 2 sensor is using?
FOBO BIKE 2 sensor is using Bluetooth 5 chip set and it is compatible with smartphones with Bluetooth 4 or 5.
Do I need professional help to install the FOBO BIKE 2 sensors?
The installation is DIY and will take only a few minutes to complete. Please refer to the quick start guide provided in the packaging box or download the user manual from FOBO BIKE 2 page.
What if I lost my smartphone?
With its CrossPair technology, user just need to download FOBO BIKE 2 App on a new smartphone and login with the same account; all the details will be made available in the new smartphone.

Is this theft proof?
a) Sensors are tied to a FOBO account after installation. They are not re-usable or transferable without the owner releasing them from his/her FOBO account. This theft deterrent feature removes the economic value of a stolen sensor to discourage theft. b) FOBO Bike 2 package comes with anti-theft lock-nuts and a special wrench. The anti-theft locking system will lock your sensor against others from unscrewing it.
Will this fit on my bike?
Sensors are compatible with Schrader valve, which are almost universal on bike tyres. Please check the physical dimensions of the sensor to ensure sufficient clearance between installed sensor and any part of the bike.
Is the sensor waterproof?
Yes, the sensor is waterproof (IP57).
Will the FOBO app runs in the background and alert me to low pressures while Google map is on the screen and music is also playing?
The App will monitor the sensors in the background. Please ensure that you have enabled and accept all the App permissions requested. It will alert users whenever there is a pressure breach, it will slow down the music to notify you on the alert. If you are wearing a smartwatch then the alerts will be shown on the watch too

Fobo Tyre Australia disclaims any responsibility for, and will not provide warranty or product support for, products sourced outside of official distribution channels. Product compliance requirements vary by country. Products obtained through Fobo Tyre Australia or its authorized resellers are guaranteed to comply with Australian Standards, such as Australia's button cell battery laws. International models of Fobo products may not meet these standards. All products sold through Fobo Tyre Australia or its authorized resellers are certified and compliant with applicable local regulations.
Warranty. This Product is warranted to the original purchaser (“end-user”) for the period of one (1) years from the original purchase date (“Warranty Period”). This Product is warranted against defective materials and construction. This Warranty is void if the Product has been damaged by accident or unreasonable use, neglect, improper service or other causes not arising from defects in materials or construction. This Warranty is not transferable by the end-user. During the Warranty Period, if this Product hardware is found by Fobo Tyre Australia to be defective, Fobo Tyre Australia may, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law: (i) to the extent deemed feasible by Fobo Tyre Australia, repair the defective portion of the Product hardware without charge to the end-user; (ii) replace the defective Product with a comparable new or refurbished product; or (iii) in the event that Fobo Tyre Australia is unable to repair or under (i) or (ii), refund to the end-user the net purchase price the end-user paid for the Product. If the Product is replaced during the Warranty Period, the replaced Product will be warranted for the full duration of the Warranty Period. If the Product is repaired the Warranty Period, except to the extent that Fobo Tyre Australia is expressly prohibited by applicable law, the warranty for the repaired Product will expire upon the expiration of the original Warranty Period or one (1) year whichever is longer. Other than the end-user’s cost to return the Product, no charge will be made for such repair and/or replacement. Fobo Tyre Australia strongly recommends that the end-user insure the Product for value if the end-user mails it. Any warranty service or support under this Warranty is conditioned upon the return of the Product to Fobo Tyre Australia.
Please allow up to three weeks for Fobo Tyre Australia to send the replacement. Fobo Tyre Australia does not promise that facilities for the repair of this Product or parts for the repair of this Product will be available.
Limitation of Liability. Subject to the provisions of the Australian Consumer Law and to the extent that Fobo Tyre Australia is expressly prohibited by applicable law, Fobo Tyre Australia hereby disclaims all other warranties, conditions, representations or guarantees of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Fobo Tyre Australia shall not be liable for loss of use of the product or other incidental or consequential costs, expenses or damages incurred by the end-user or any other user.
