Fobo Tyre 2 Smart Bluetooth 5 Tyre Pressure Monitoring System for your car
FOBO TYRE 2 monitors tyre pressure in real-time while driving or when within Bluetooth range. It detects a slow or fast leaks and alerts users to anomalies. It then transmits readings to an In-Car unit and smartphone the user can browse. The user can set upper and lower thresholds of the air pressure for each axle.
With an intelligent In-Car monitoring unit that works on its own or simultaneously with your smartphone, FOBO TYRE 2 monitors up to 800 kPa (116 psi) and gives you an alert in the absence of a smartphone. It will monitor the pressure with its smart algorithm and will provide 6-level of alerts when the thresholds are breached.

Do i need to install FOBO TYRE 2 sensors one by one?
FOBO TYRE 2 sensors inside the packaging box are pre-installed with the in-car unit; you do not need to install the sensors one by one.

What phone does FOBO TYRE 2 work with?
FOBO Tyre 2 works with Android and iOS smartphones with Bluetooth 4.0 and above. Please ensure you update to the latest OS, at least Android 5.0 and iOS 12 or later.
How long can I use FOBO TYRE 2?
FOBO TYRE 2 uses 2xAA batteries for In-car Unit and CR1632 battery for sensor units. These batteries are easily available from local stores and would last up to 1 year for sensor and 2 year for In-car Unit on normal operating temperature. Operating in extreme cold climate may reduce the battery operating life.
How to ensure my FOBO TYRE 2 sensors not stolen?
FOBO TYRE 2 comes with two theft deterrent features. FOBO TYRE 2 units are not re-usable if stolen, thus discouraging potential thieves. The package also comes with anti-theft nuts and a small wrench to mechanically lock the sensors.
Can FOBO TYRE 2 work without a smartphone?
You will need a smartphone in order to install FOBO TYRE 2 and change settings. Once installed, FOBO TYRE 2 will work even without a smartphone, in case your smartphone is not with you. The In-car Unit will alert with different alert tones in case of tyre problems.
Can I keep In-car Unit at home after the installation and monitor sensors with smartphone?
In-car Unit is an integral part of the system and need to be placed inside the car near to the dashboard where it is not enclosed. It works as a secondary device to alert you incase you forgot your smartphone at home.
Can FOBO TYRE 2 sensor work in all weather conditions?
FOBO TYRE 2 sensor is designed to operate under extreme cold and hot climate. And it's tested for water proof (IP57).
What if there is more than one person driving my car? Can they use the FOBO TYRE 2 in my car?
You can share FOBO Tyre 2 in your car with family and friends. Use FOBO share option in the App to Key in their e-mail address that will be used to login to their FOBO TYRE 2 account and it will be synchronized with FOBO cloud via our CrossPair technology. Please ensure they have downloaded FOBO TYRE 2 App on their smartphone and activated it with their email.
How far away can I detect FOBO TYRE 2 readings?
FOBO TYRE 2 uses Bluetooth to send out signals. Typical range 30 meters line of sight without anything blocking the signal.
Will FOBO TYRE 2 work for trucks or big vans?
FOBO TYRE 2 works on four wheel vehicles with tyre pressures below 116 psi (800 Kpa). You can add additional sensors under extra sensor profile (such as for spare tyre).
How can FOBO TYRE 2 work when my car engine is turned off?
Your smartphone will pick up signals from FOBO TYRE 2 sensors via Bluetooth. You can check your car tyre pressures any time knowing that they are working 24x7 round the clock continuously monitoring the tyres for you.
Does FOBO TYRE 2 affect tyre balancing?
FOBO TYRE 2 sensor weight is 7.6 grams each but extensive testing has shown a maximum deviation of 5 grams on the wheel balancer. Typical wheel balancing equipment in the market has a resolution of 5 grams as well. The deviation of 5 grams is to be considered acceptable and there is no need to rebalance the wheels after installing FOBO TYRE 2. This is in line with our tyre experts.
What should I do if FOBO TYRE 2 sensors cannot read tyre pressure on first installation?
All FOBO TYRE 2 sensors are pre-installed with the In-car Unit; you do not need to install the sensors one by one. Just follow the instructions, remove sensor battery tab and install sensor on the position as mentioned on the battery tab. If you did not receive pressure readings after installing a sensor, remove the particular sensor battery and insert back.
Can I calibrate FOBO TYRE 2 sensors?
FOBO TYRE 2 does not need calibration.
Does FOBO TYRE 2 read absolute pressure or gauge pressure?
FOBO TYRE 2 sensor report absolute pressure and has an internal formulation coupled with Absolute Pressure reading to display readings as if users are at sea-level, even though FOBO readings are taken at ANY altitudes. Fobo TYRE 2 readings should match the placard pressure and user should inflate their tyres according to FOBO TYRE 2 reading instead of handheld pressure gauge in the event there are differences between these two readings due to altitude factor and gauge accuracy.
Do I need to release the whole system if I am changing my smartphone?
No, you just need to download the App on your new smartphone and login using the same email address under which the system is installed. All the details will be synced from our server to your new smartphone.
Do I need to release the whole system if I am changing my car?
No, you just need to dismount the system from your old car and mount on your new car. Please label the sensor with its position to avoid mounting the sensor at wrong position. You can change the car profile image & name by using the FOBO TYRE 2 App.
Mandatory Statutory Rights. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. To the extent Fobo Tyre Australia cannot lawfully disclaim any applicable implied or statutory rights relating to this Product, nothing in this warranty is to be interpreted as excluding, restricting or modifying any State or Federal legislation applicable to the supply of goods and services which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. If you are a consumer, this Warranty applies in addition to the rights and remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.

Fobo Tyre Australia disclaims any responsibility for, and will not provide warranty or product support for, products sourced outside of official distribution channels. Product compliance requirements vary by country. Products obtained through Fobo Tyre Australia or its authorized resellers are guaranteed to comply with Australian Standards, such as Australia's button cell battery laws. International models of Fobo products may not meet these standards. All products sold through Fobo Tyre Australia or its authorized resellers are certified and compliant with applicable local regulations.
Warranty. This Product is warranted to the original purchaser (“end-user”) for the period of one (1) years from the original purchase date (“Warranty Period”). This Product is warranted against defective materials and construction. This Warranty is void if the Product has been damaged by accident or unreasonable use, neglect, improper service or other causes not arising from defects in materials or construction. This Warranty is not transferable by the end-user. During the Warranty Period, if this Product hardware is found by Fobo Tyre Australia to be defective, Fobo Tyre Australia may, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law: (i) to the extent deemed feasible by Fobo Tyre Australia, repair the defective portion of the Product hardware without charge to the end-user; (ii) replace the defective Product with a comparable new or refurbished product; or (iii) in the event that Fobo Tyre Australia is unable to repair or under (i) or (ii), refund to the end-user the net purchase price the end-user paid for the Product. If the Product is replaced during the Warranty Period, the replaced Product will be warranted for the full duration of the Warranty Period. If the Product is repaired the Warranty Period, except to the extent that Fobo Tyre Australia is expressly prohibited by applicable law, the warranty for the repaired Product will expire upon the expiration of the original Warranty Period or one (1) year whichever is longer. Other than the end-user’s cost to return the Product, no charge will be made for such repair and/or replacement. Fobo Tyre Australia strongly recommends that the end-user insure the Product for value if the end-user mails it. Any warranty service or support under this Warranty is conditioned upon the return of the Product to Fobo Tyre Australia.
Please allow up to three weeks for Fobo Tyre Australia to send the replacement. Fobo Tyre Australia does not promise that facilities for the repair of this Product or parts for the repair of this Product will be available.
Limitation of Liability. Subject to the provisions of the Australian Consumer Law and to the extent that Fobo Tyre Australia is expressly prohibited by applicable law, Fobo Tyre Australia hereby disclaims all other warranties, conditions, representations or guarantees of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Fobo Tyre Australia shall not be liable for loss of use of the product or other incidental or consequential costs, expenses or damages incurred by the end-user or any other user. To the extent Fobo Tyre Australia cannot lawfully disclaim any implied or statutory warranties or guarantees relating to the Product, the end-user’s statutory rights are not affected by this clause.
